Theme in progress: Old/New

 As artists it's important for us to grow and we like to show how much we've come along. One of our members Jen suggested we find an old drawing from years ago and redo it. So we looked through and dusted off our old sketchbooks to find pieces we will not only redo but make them look awesome.

Note: We haven't forgotten about our first theme "Sci-Fi" A lot of us have been busy with jobs/work/personal stuff/etc. Once certain members have finished, we will release them for the public to see

Hi Josh here to present you with my Sci-Fi piece.

Yes folks, you know what that means... 

This piece is a crossover Sci-Fi piece in the works to ask one question:

Jedi versus Sentinal or "Squidy."Who will prevail? The mystical power known as The Force? Or the hive minded overpowering might of the Sentinals?

Light saber beats cutting laser/ mecha-tentacles?

This piece was the result of our blogs first project; a Chibi (cute) self portrait. This project was a means of introducing ourselves through our personal self expression, and to provide viewers with a visual representation of the blog's owners.

Hey everybody. I'm a freelance illustrator who likes to work on many different forms of art, but I love children's book illustrations and working with graphic design. I'm very honored and excited to be a part of this group and am looking forward to everyone's contributions!

First Theme!

The idea for our blog is to create a piece based on a theme every month or so. Sometimes it can be hard to think of something to create unless you're in a group. The first theme we decided is *in epic voice* SCI-FI!

We pick something sci-fi related from our favorite movie/show/book/game/etc.

Expect to see some epic sci-fi stuff soon.
